Also known as biomagnetic therapy or electromagnetic field therapy, magnet therapy is the application of magnets to the body with the intent to affect physiological processes. Purported benefits of magnet therapy include relief from pain and stress, reduction in swelling, and improved blood circulation.

Potential Application for Children with Cancer

Very little research has been conducted on magnet therapy and children with cancer. Magnet therapy may be useful post surgery for tumor resection by aiding in the healing process.
