The Integrative Therapies Program for Children with Cancer needs your help to continue to offer clinical and educational services to patients and their families, as well as, to support the development of evidence-based protocols that can guide future research initiatives and recommendations about complementary/alternative medicine in pediatric oncology. All of our clinical services are offered at no cost to our families. Many patients incur large costs associated with cancer therapy and are unable to pay for any additional services. In addition, approximately 50% of our patients use Medicaid as their form of payment and do not have the wherewithal to purchase any supportive services.
Although some contributors work as volunteers, this work engenders substantial costs for administrative support, supplies, copying, literature searches, archives, and web development. Your contribution will help us continue to develop and distribute this vital information to clinicians and patients.
Your donation is tax deductible. Please write make your check out to: The Integrative Therapies Program for Children with Cancer. Mail it to: Columbia University, Pediatric Oncology, 161 Ft. Washington, Rm.728, New York, New York, 10032.
